CATERESSENCE offers a flexible, professional and personalised catering food service based on quality and presentation. Due to continued expansion of the Company’s operations, we are currently seeking individuals in the following positions; Skills and Requirements: – Give attention to detail; – Have previous experience working in Hot or Larder Section – Ability to communicate in English or Maltese; – Able to work flexible hours including and weekends; – Possession of Food Handling license B. Selected candidates will be given training, the chance to work alongside a team of experienced Chefs, and the opportunity to develop their culinary skills.

– Full time on a contract basis with shift

Competencies

• Check compliance with work procedures and rules for hygiene and food safety
• Cook or heat up meat, fish, vegetables, …
• Prepare dishes for service (presentation, composition, finish…)
• Select/dose ingredients (flour, yeast, additives…) to prepare bread dough/pastry dough. Mix/knead/roll out dough
• Receive and check goods. Store goods in cold-storage room or pantry
• Prepare food: Cater dishes (pizzas, quiches, sandwiches…)
