What Did the Program Include?

The “3D Tourism” training was a 30-hour intensive program delivered over 10 days, structured into three core themes: professional communication, customer experience design, and cultural heritage-based tour guiding. Each module lasted 3 hours and combined theoretical learning with practical application through group exercises, real-life simulations, role-play, and case studies. The methodology focused on active participation, aiming to equip participants with practical tools they can apply immediately in the field of tourism.

The training covered key topics such as managing tourist interactions, ethical behavior in hospitality, conflict resolution, and guiding tourists through culturally significant experiences in Albania. Students learned how to design full client journeys, from booking to farewell, while also building itineraries that promote local heritage. Upon completion, each participant received a certificate from NOVARIC® Academy, along with individual feedback and support in integrating their newly gained skills into their CVs and professional presence, including LinkedIn.

A Mentor Who Made the Difference

At the heart of this training stood Bora MIRUKU, the lead mentor and expert facilitator whose influence went far beyond the classroom. Her role was not only to deliver information, but to cultivate critical thinking, inspire creativity, and encourage each participant to see themselves as future leaders in tourism.

With years of experience in the field and a deep understanding of sustainable tourism practices, Bora brought a rare blend of professional expertise and emotional intelligence. Her sessions were carefully structured, but never rigid, allowing space for honest dialogue, open questions, and reflection.

One of the most powerful aspects of her mentorship was her ability to make every student feel seen, heard, and capable. Whether it was through personalized feedback, one-on-one conversations, or the way she connected real-world examples to the students’ own contexts, Bora created a safe, motivating space where growth felt possible.

Certification Day | More Than Just a Piece of Paper

The final day celebrated more than a course completion. It recognized the hard work, growth, and transformation of every participant.

With certificates in hand and knowledge in their toolkit, these future professionals are now ready to bring fresh ideas and ethical practices into Albania’s tourism industry.
