For 8 years the economy in Albania has suffered a severe blow, where businesses, as the main unit of any economy has not recognized any support from government programs, immersed in taxes businesses have not known anything else. Not to mention the support and assistance to the innovative ideas of young people, non-existent these 8 years of misery. Like any other sector, the Economy has been merely part of the propaganda platform and countless lies of the “Rilindas” Pilot program. The economy in the eyes of young people shows the unfiltered reflection of the truth that Business faces today in Vlora. The presentation of the economic platform of the Democratic Party to young entrepreneurs in Vlora filled them with hope for the future, because the program of the Democratic Party is the program that thinks about every Albanian, thinks about their future, thinks about the youth, thinks about Albania. Strengthening the Economy is the biggest project and commitment of the Democratic Party for the next 4 years.

The COVID-19 pandemic last year boosted the country’s public debt by 11.6%. The Ministry of Finance reports that the stock at the end of December was 77.8% from 66.2% at the end of 2019. Last year, when almost every decision was dictated by the pandemic, the public debt increased by 906.4 million euros. In total the debt stock has exceeded 9.9 billion euros from about 9 billion that was. In this significant increase of this indicator, the decrease of the Gross Domestic Product by more than 867.9 million euros had an impact. The increase in expenditures and the budget deficit due to the funds needed to meet the needs left by the COVID-19 pandemic also played a role. The loans taken by the internationals for the pandemic as well as the Eurobond of 650 million Euros that was issued in June 2020 have also had an effect on its growth.


Minister of Education, Sports and Youth Mrs. Evis Kushi has introduced through a video Kristi Isaku, who contributes to the General Directorate of Pre-University Education (DPAP) and is one of 210 young people employed on a 1-year contract thanks to “Call V” of the National Internship Program. Working. Being already an integral part of the “Pact for the University”, Minister Kushi underlines that this program is “a very good opportunity for the integration of young people in the central and local administration, as well as independent institutions or various companies.” To date, 5 calls have been made from the National Internship Program, which serves as a very good opportunity for those young people between the ages of 21-26 who have not actually excelled with an average above 9 during their studies and are given the opportunity to integrate into central administration, local administration, independent institutions or various commercial companies.
