1. Purpose
This policy sets forth the rights and obligations arising from the creation, ownership, protection, and use of intellectual property (IP) in the course of NOVARIC®’s operations. It ensures that all original works, technologies, services, content, and registered trademarks developed or used by NOVARIC® are protected under Albanian and international law.
2. Legal Framework

3. NOVARIC® Intellectual Property
All materials and intellectual creations produced directly or indirectly by employees, collaborators, or third parties under contract with NOVARIC® are deemed the exclusive intellectual property of NOVARIC®. This includes, but is not limited to:
The brand name NOVARIC® and its registered sub-brands
Official logo(s), slogan(s), and other registered trade signs
Digital platforms, software, databases, and proprietary systems
Training manuals, academic content, and internal documentation
Audiovisual materials, advertising campaigns, designs, social media content, and website assets
4. Works Created Under Contract
In accordance with Article 6 of Albanian Law No. 35/2016 and Article 12 of the Berne Convention, all works created within the scope of employment or service contracts with NOVARIC® shall be considered “works made for hire”. All copyright and related rights shall automatically be vested in NOVARIC®, unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.
5. Protection and Registration of Intellectual Property
NOVARIC® commits to:
Registering trademarks and logos with the General Directorate of Industrial Property (DPPI) in Albania, as well as internationally through WIPO and EUIPO
Protecting copyright through legal registration and maintenance of authorship records
Taking legal action in the event of infringement, including cease-and-desist orders and judicial claims for damages
6. Use of Content and Licensing
No material owned by NOVARIC® may be copied, reproduced, transmitted, distributed, or used for commercial, academic, or personal purposes without the express written consent of the authorized legal representative of NOVARIC®. Any such unauthorized use shall constitute an infringement under Albanian law and applicable international treaties.
7. Infringements and Sanctions
Any individual or entity found to be in breach of this policy may face:
Disciplinary or contractual action (for employees and partners)
Civil proceedings for damages
Criminal prosecution for serious violations, where applicable
8. Amendments and Updates
This policy may be periodically reviewed and updated by NOVARIC®’s legal department to reflect legislative developments or operational needs. Updated versions will be published on NOVARIC®’s official platforms.
